Thank you for visiting my site. I’m truly grateful you’ve taken the time to learn more about me and the work I’m passionate about.

I’m fascinated by the intersection of identity, confidence, and human connection. I love studying why some people naturally light up a room while others quietly disappear into the background—and how self-image influences nearly every aspect of our lives.

I’m a lifelong student of people, personal growth, and possibility. Over the past 30+ years, I’ve worked in corporate leadership, marketing, and coaching, but some of my greatest lessons have come from everyday life—raising a family, living on a farm, traveling often, reinventing myself, and discovering that confidence grows when we finally allow ourselves to become who we truly are.

I also believe:

• Style is a form of communication
• Confidence can be cultivated
• Travel changes perspective
• Life unfolds in seasons
• And no one should have to figure adulthood out alone

Whether you are entering a new season of life or simply trying to rediscover yourself along the way, my hope is that this space leaves you feeling inspired, encouraged, and a little more connected to who you were always meant to become.

WHAT’S IN A NAME?

The name "The Well-Traveled Farmer" holds profound significance for me, woven from a memorable day spent in the French countryside. While visiting Paris, one of my wishes was to spend a day in the French countryside. We ventured out to a charming home not far from Normandy. Our hostess was a graceful, elegant, lovely lady who entertained us with stories and must-see places. As we talked, she shared her journey of raising children and navigating life's crossroads—her story resonated deeply with mine. Like her, I often felt as if life was racing by, filled with endless errands and responsibilities.

I reflected on my fear of becoming redundant once my children were "out of the nest" and losing my purpose. With her gentle French demeanor, she encouraged me to reframe my perspective: instead of viewing life as passing me by, she suggested seeing it as "well-traveled." She exclaimed, "You're a well-traveled farmer". This idea expanded beyond geography; it became about the wisdom gained through experiences, not just the number of stamps in a passport.

Living on a farm with my husband has taught me invaluable lessons in patience, perseverance, and hope. So, "The Well-Traveled Farmer" is a celebration of this journey that acknowledges the beauty in both the struggles and the growth that come along the way. It's about embracing the idea that it's not just about where we go but the experiences that shape us. Every twist and turn adds depth to our story, and I'm excited to share that adventure with you! Together, we can inspire each other to live a life well-traveled.
